Clarence “Clem” Thaxton
Clarence E. Thaxton, known as “Clem” by most, was an amazingly loving husband of 41 years to Tina Thaxton. He was a caring, protective, dedicated father of 3 beautiful children, Christina, Curtis and Timothy Thaxton. He was also a great son, brother and kind, caring friend to many. He was an amazing provider and hard worker, most of his life as an OTR truck driver! Driving his truck was one of his many passions in Life! He loved going on the road and could drive/park his truck ANYWHERE in ANY weather! Lol. He didn’t know a stranger! Everyone seemed to know him one way or another!! He was just a kind, caring and giving man, all the way to the end, still giving… in hopes to help someone in their time of need. Although only his eyes were viable, we’re so proud of him for all the love he showed in his life and beyond! He had many loves in his life, such as the Bengals, but his love for his grandchildren was immense! All who knew him in the end knew… He lived for his grandbabies!! Being a grandfather was his biggest thrill in life! “He is and always will be OUR HERO.”
Clem is a hero who left a life-saving legacy through eye donation.
