We honor your life, your love, and the gift you gave others. David was quiet as an adult, a big bear like gentle Ben from the old TV show. He laughed continually but quietly, the only hint of an upturned corner of an eye or a wry smile. He found bliss in solitude, almost meditative, but an occasional round of golf, enjoying nature in a canoe, or paradoxically in the cacophony of a video game with family and friends. In many ways David was. He was there, quiet but present, shy but big-hearted, ever pondering the next thing he’d fix or at least try. He was a baby, child, brother, nephew, grandson, father – all of the above and more. He was beloved of many. David is a hero who left a life-saving legacy through tissue donation.
